Lesson Pricing:
$35 for 1 hour lesson
$25 for half-hour lesson
Cash or check is preferred for lesson payments (see payment info below). You may also pay on-line, if needed.

Group Lesson / Repertoire Workshop $10
· Please pay in advance for one month for private lessons, ideally
by or on the first lesson of each month. We keep records of each payment and
lesson, so we can keep track of this easily. Cash or check is preferred. Checks
should be made to Redbird School of Irish Music. If paying by month is not
possible for your budget, we require advance payment for at least your next
lesson. You may also pay online via PayPal. See above right.
· If you need to cancel/change your lesson, please let us know a week
in advance. We will work with you to try to reschedule if possible. A minimum
of 48 hours is recommended. If sufficient notice is not provided, or you do
not show up for your lesson and have not notified us at all, we will charge
you for the lesson. We will do our best to work with you in cases of illness,
emergency situations, etc.
Lesson Info:
* We teach tunes and techniques from the Irish tradition.
* Lessons are taught mainly by ear. A tape or digital recorder is needed for lessons, in addition to your instrument. Instructors work with each student at their level to keep them learning and challenged.
* Looking for lessons for young people? Tin Whistle is an affordable instrument and is great for little fingers. Irish song is also a great introduction to the music!
* Adult beginner for any of the above instruments? Great! We welcome beginners of any age!
* Traditional Irish Song lessons focus on traditional repertoire, melody and ornamentation.
* Private Students may choose weekly or every-other-week lessons.
* Repertoire workshops are open to all instruments appropriate to Irish melody. All levels are welcome provided that you are comfortable with your instrument and open to learning by ear. Tunes are taught by ear in a group setting.
