Tunes, songs and techniques are learned in the traditional style: by ear, with a focus on technical form as needed.
Davey Mathias started playing guitar at the age of nine and has since studied a wide variety of styles. He offers lessons in DADGAD guitar accompaniment for Irish music. Davey is also a skilled tenor banjo player and teaches tunes and techniques from the Irish repertoire for tenor banjo and mandolin..
