Steve Bennett
Steve Bennett has been playing traditional music for a long time in Columbia SC: originally with bluegrass and old-time music and moving on to Irish music about 20 years ago. Steve played in a number of local bands, initially on mandolin and guitar but eventually winding up on tenor banjo and button accordion (C#D for those who care).
When we asked Steve for some bio info for the website, he sent: "Our dear friend Steve taught us everything we know about Irish music and much about life itself ...." Since this statement has a degree of truth to it, we decided to include it here but would like to add that we've also learned more than we ever cared to know about reptiles, The Eagles and Georgia football.
