Concert is free and open to the public; everyone is invited to bring a bag lunch from 12:30-1:30. Performance starts at 12:45. The Library provides a comfortable, café-like atmosphere w/ bistro tables, wi-fi, etc. Free coffee will be served.

October 18, 2008: Redbird School of Irish Music presents Masters of the Celtic Harp: Gráinne Hambly from County Mayo, Ireland and William Jackson from Glasgow Scotland. In concert at Bill's Pickin' Parlor on Meeting Street - (803) 796-6477. Rarely has Irish and Scottish music been heard together in a way that compares with the music of these fine musicians. A special treat for fans of the harp and Celtic music fans! 8pm. $15 adults, $7 children 12 and under. Email for more details or visit the Redbird Events page to buy tickets. Tickets are also available to purchase at Bill's. Harp (with Gráinne) and penny whistle (with William) workshops 2-4 at the Columbia Museum of Art. Cost $35. November 9, 2007: Redbird School of Irish Music presents - An evening of Irish music with a master of both the fiddle and guitar Randal Bays! 8PM at the Knights of Columbus Hall - Corner of Marion and Blanding, Downtown Columbia. Tickets $15. Randal will be accompanied by Columbia's own Davey Mathias of Corner House. Randal will teach a fiddle workshop prior to the concert 5-6:30, cost $35.
